Job Description
Bluelight Dubai is hiring a skilled and dedicated Network Support Engineer to join our professional team in Dubai. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with server administration, network infrastructure, and onsite IT support, and should be comfortable working in both office-based and client-facing environments.
Key Responsibilities
Install, configure, and administer servers and network infrastructure
Troubleshoot and resolve network, server, and system-related issues
Manage and maintain LAN and WAN environments
Install, configure, and support routers and switches
Monitor system and network performance to ensure reliability and security
Provide onsite IT and technical support as required
Maintain proper network documentation, cabling, and rack management
Required Skills & Expertise
Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Windows Server (latest versions), including roles, services, and security configurations
Solid network troubleshooting and problem-resolution skills
Experience with LAN / WAN setup, configuration, and maintenance
Practical knowledge of router and switch installation and configuration
Good understanding of TCP/IP, firewall configuration, and basic network security principles
Experience with system and network performance monitoring tools
Knowledge of structured cabling, patch panels, and rack management
Willingness to provide onsite IT support when required
Preferred / Optional Skills
Basic to intermediate knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server, including installation, configuration, and routine maintenance
